Lattice semiconductor competitions11/14/2023 Metal-free efficient photocatalyst for stable visible water splitting via a two-electron pathway. The solar-to-hydrogen efficiency is 1.31%. We report an internal quantum efficiency of 114% at 350 nm for photocatalytic hydrogen production, demonstrating the utilization of MEG effects. We achieve a tunable energy band structure through quantum effects in CdTe and doping engineering of V-In 2S 3, which induces a 14-fold enhancement in the CdTe/V-In 2S 3 interfacial built-in electric field intensity relative to pristine CdTe/V-In 2S 3. Here we show that a CdTe quantum dot/vanadium-doped indium sulphide (CdTe/V-In 2S 3) photocatalyst has a built-in electric field and cascade energy band structure sufficient to effectively extract excitons and separate carriers, allowing MEG to be exploited for hydrogen production. Moreover, many photocatalytic systems for overall water splitting suffer from poor charge carrier separation. However, demonstrations of the effect are still scarce in photocatalytic hydrogen production. It does not store any personal data.Multiple exciton generation (MEG), where two or more electron–hole pairs are produced from the absorption of one high-energy photon, could increase the efficiency of light absorbing devices. It has so many diverse applications and offers plenty of customisation. “Despite tough competition, this product manages to transcend the pack. “The full-featured Lattice sensAI stack includes everything you need to evaluate, develop and deploy FPGA-based ML /AI solutions – modular hardware platforms, example demonstrations, reference designs, neural network IP cores, software tools for development, and custom design services,” says Niamh Marriott, Editor for Components in Electronics Magazine. We continue to develop sensAI and grow the sensAI partner ecosystem, which includes design and full product development partners, to help customers achieve faster time to market in this exciting growth phase of the IoT. “Since its introduction, market response to sensAI has been extremely favorable – designers have recognised the advantages of adding low power, flexible AI support to Edge devices, which minimizes the need to send data to the Cloud for processing, thereby lowering costs. “We are delighted that sensAI has received the accolade of the Electronics Industry Award’s IoT Product of the Year,” comments Deepak Boppana, Senior Director of Segment and Solutions Marketing, Lattice Semiconductor. Optimized for ultra-low power consumption (1 mW – 1 W), and boasting both small package size (5.5 mm 2 – 100 mm 2) and interface flexibility (MIPI® CSI-2, LVDS, GigE, etc.), sensAI offers a seamless user experience and support for new neural network models, machine learning frameworks, and faster design cycles in its latest release. Lattice sensAI enables rapid implementation of Edge computing into IoT applications close to the source of sensor data. Lattice sensAI is a complete technology stack that combines modular FPGA development kits, neural network IP cores, software tools, reference designs and custom design services to accelerate the integration of flexible machine learning inferencing into fast-growth industrial, automotive and consumer IoT applications, including smart home, smart city, smart factory and smart car products. This marks the fourth industry award that Lattice sensAI has received in 2019. Lattice Semiconductor Corporation, the low power programmable leader, announced that its sensAI solutions stack has been named winner of the Internet of Things Product of the Year at the Electronics Industry Awards held in London, UK.
